Confirmed! GODIAG ECU GPT Boot AD ECU Connector can work with Openport 2.0 and Godiag GT100+ OBDII Breakout Box to read Ford/JLR SID208 ECU without any issue.
Tips:
It needs to read the password in boot mode using module 7 and use it to read and write Ford/JLR SID208 ECU Micro & EEPROM data using module 53.
Ford/JLR SID208 ECU Boot Mode Tricode SAK TC1797 Pinout diagram to Godiag ECU Adapter
Pin 39, Pin 5: +12V (Red)
Pin7, Pin2: Ground (Black)
Pin 11: CAN-L (Orange)
Pin 10: CAN-H (Blue)
Connection:
Follow the Pinout diagram to connect GODIAG ECU GPT Boot AD and SID208 via the jumper cable
And connect Godiag GT100+, and Openport correctly. Also need to supply 12V power to GT100+ and plug pcmtuner smart dongle into PC
When simulating reading the car password, you must press the switch on Godiag ECU adapter. Otherwise, it cannot be read.
1.Read and save password- OK
Run pcmflash software
Select Interface: J2534: Tactrix Inc.-openport 2.0 J2534 ISO/CAN/VPW/PWM
ECU: [07] JLR: Defender 2012.2.2L TD4 (SID208)
Identify the ECU info>> Read and save password
2.Read Ford/JLR SID208 ECU-OK
Use a screwdriver to dismantle the ECU and connect ECU with Godiag Adapter according to the previous wiring diagram
Then solder the chip to the PCB board according to the wiring diagram
Directly connect the red wire to CNF1 on the PCB board
Connection is completed.
Run pcmflash software
Read Micro data:
Select Interface: J2534: Tactrix Inc.-openport 2.0 J2534 ISO/CAN/VPW/PWM
ECU: [53] Infineon: TC1797 MICRO (4096 KB)
Must manually pop up the switch button on Godiag ECU GPT Boot Adapter
Identify ECU successfully
Select Continental Ford SID208 and password saved in step 1 to read Micro data and save it
Read EEPROM data:
Select [53] Infineon: TC1797 EEPROM (64 KB)
Use the above method to identify the ECU, read and save EEPROM data
