Have a Renault UCH X84-N2. Let’s see how to read the PIN code on bench mode with Godiag GT100 OBDII Breakout Box and Renolink using direct pinout and power up without car.
Godiag GT100 and Renault ECU Pinout:
PP3- Pin 2: GND
PP1- Pin 1: GND
PP1- Pin 3&4: +12V
PE2- Pin 8: CAN H
PE2- Pin 18: CAN L
PE1-> Pin 7: Start/ Stop sw. connect to GND or PIN 9 from PE1
1.Connect device and ECU
Use the Godiag DB25 colored jumper cable to connect GT100 and ECU according to the Pinout diagram correctly
Connect GT100 and Renolink diagnostic cable via the Godiag OBD 2-in-1 extension cable
Connect Renolink to a PC as well
2.Identify ECU
After the connection is completed, run renolink software to operate.
Click “Scan” option in the top toolbar
Select ECU option- UCH
Click “Scan”
Identify the ECU info successfully
3.Read Pin
Double-click the ECU info, it will appear screens list.
Select SSPP Etacs>> SSPP Defaults capteurs
Click Extra>> Keys
Select UCH Megane2, Scenic2
Click “Read Pin”
Read out ISK and Pin, save the data in a new text document.
We can virgin another car. We’ll do the adaptation with the Pin code.
- Clear BCM IMMO code
Click Extra>> BCM Cleaner
Select UCH Megane2, Scenic2, Clio3 (card)
Click “Clear immo Uch” and confirm to clear
Click “Refresh” and then “Disconnect”
Close it
- Read Pin again
Use the same steps as step 3 to read a blank Uch
Read Pin successfully, the ISK is 0.
Copy the ISK and Pin data read out in step 3 and paste them here
We can click Connect, and perform the Start learning, Validate, and Learn key/card if we have a key. As we operate on bench now, there is no key ID.
